Class Descriptions

  • Back/Spine Class This therapeutic exercise class was designed to help alleviate back pain while strengthening the back and core muscles. It will begin with gentle stretching, move to strengthening exercises and end with a cool down. Ask your physical therapist if you are ready to transition to this type of fitness class. Class Time 30 minutes.
  • Boot Camp This popular exercise class works all areas of the body using your own body weight, hand weights and aerobic-style movement. Our Fitness Experts can modify moves based on your ability, so don’t hesistate to try this fun and up-beat class! Class Time 50 minutes.
  • CORE Fundamentals This class offers mild strength training, stretching and basic body movement exercises. It is designed to help strengthen the body, but at a slower pace, using weights, core exercises and stretching techniques. Class Time 50 minutes.
  • Gait/Balance Class This therapeutic exercise class was designed to help those people struggling with their ability to walk and those that may struggle with their general balance. It will start with a brief warm up, move into strengthening moves, then work on balance using a chair and balance with an instructor, one on one. Ask your physical therapist if you are ready to transition to this type of group fitness class. The class is 30 minutes.
  • Pilates This mat Pilates class follows the techniques of Pilates founder Joseph Pilates. The class starts with a warm up and will include floor exercises and the use of magic circles, therabands and balls to aid in stretching and lean muscle building. The skill level will be adjusted based on the class in attendance. Class Time 50 minutes.
  • Pilates Reformer If you are interested in using a Pilates Reformer machine, please contact our fitness instructor at our Orange location to schedule a private Reformer session. The Reformer will help improve strength, coordination, balance and flexibility. 30 minute and 1 hour sessions available for an additional price and packages are available.
  • Student/Athlete Training This class is designed for student-athletes who would like to take their current fitness level to a higher and more competitive level for their sport. This peak performance program allows young athletes to reach their full potential in a fun yet competitive environment. Sports-specific training and strengthening of the muscles and joints not only optimizes movement patterns but greatly reduces the likelihood of injury. Class Time 50 minutes.
  • Yogalates You guessed it! This class is a combination of Yoga, Pilates and stretching. After a brief warm up you will work smoothly through Yoga and Pilates moves in combinations that will maximize stretching and de-stressing. It’s a great way to end a long day of computer work, car driving, or a perfect compliment to your boot camp or running/walking routines. Class Time 50 minutes.
