Daphne Gonzalez, PTA
I grew up in Los Angeles County but always felt drawn to Orange County and knew I wanted to build my career here. I spent many years in Fullerton for both school and work, which helped shape my passion for serving this community. I attended American Career College with the goal of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant after working as a caregiver and CNA for over three years.
I have always had a strong passion for helping others, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see patients’ excitement and progress as they work toward their goals. My main reason for transitioning from a CNA to a PTA was to help patients regain independence and return to their everyday activities, no matter their age or background.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through certain workouts and hiking. I also love watching movies, treating myself to sweet desserts, and spending quality time with family and friends. In my free time, I like to challenge myself by learning new skills—right now, I’m working on sign language and calisthenics
Paulina Arredondo, PTA
I initially worked as an aide and enjoyed working with patients before joining the PTA program. I graduated from the PTA program at Loma Linda University. I grew up in San Bernardino County.
